About XY Percussion Duo

The XY Percussion duo: Xingyao Xue & Xingyue Xue, are a pair of twins born into a musical family. They started learning the piano and drum set at the age of 4, and the marimba and percussion at 7. They began their education at the Music Middle School Affiliated with Shanghai Conservatory of Music at 11 and made their way into the Juilliard Pre-College. They are currently studying at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee and Berklee College of Music with professor Nancy Zeltsman. They exhibited their musical talent, especially in percussion duo playing under the influence of family background at a young age and professional educational environment. They had previously won the Gold Award for both solo and duo and the Outstanding Educator Award in multiple Percussion Competitions around the world.
